America's Cook Book (Cookbook) (1937, 1938, 1940, 1943, 1944, 1945, 1947, 1949) New York Herald Tribune, Home Institute ofThick and thorough cookbook compiled by the Home Institute of the New York Herald Tribune. An heirloom quality vintage cookbook with sections on meal planning, cooking methods, canning, wines, cocktails, table settings and service, menus, meat cuts guide, and much more. Approx. 600 recipes. Black washable cover with yellow lettering. This cookbook was printed between 1937 and 1949. The recipes, illustrations and cover are the same for all dates and editions. The minor differences between printings are as follows: 1937 and 1938 printing: illustrations and recipes identical to revised editions, only difference is that the introduction is by Emily Post.
1943-1945 printing: wartime introduction by Mrs. Meloney and an additional chapter "Wartime Supplement".

C Cooking Copy Condition (VERY used with one or more obvious flaws: soil, writing, pasted in recipes, small tears, unprofessional repairs, etc...)
C- Poor Condition Cooking Copy (Every page soiled, binding weak, heavily used... not pretty).
