Allen, Ida Bailey

An early cookbook by Ida Bailey Allen with recipes and menus for everything from light supper for two to a large club dinner for fifty or more. Last 28 pages or so are full-page advertisements for contemporary foods including Virginia Dare, Maxwell House and Horlick's. A few black and white illustrations plus a large black and white photo of Ida Bailey Allen on frontispiece.

OVERALL = B- Good Minus Condition COVER: Lightly stained. DUST JACKET: None. INTERIOR: Clean. Last few pages have a water stain. Part of dust jacket pasted to inside front cover. A few pasted-in newspaper clippings. Previous owner name neatly penned inside.
