The 1943 edition with the blue diamond cover is one of the most desirable editions and was printed through 1946. However, while later printings with this cover have the same number of pages and essentially the same recipes, this 1943 wartime printing has extra chapters with "Wartime Emergency Soups", "Meat Stretching and Meat Substitutes" and "Sugar-Saving Dessert Recipes".

CONDITION DESCRIPTIONS:
A- Condition = overall a very good copy with only minor use.
B Condition = good condition may have spots of soil or minor dog ears or tears, professional repair, or other small flaws.
B- Condition = a bit less than good condition with heavier use wear, including food stains, and professional repairs to binding.
C Condition = cooking copy with many flaws but overall intact and serviceable.
