This is a wonderful oil on canvas. I imagine it was painted some time in the late 19th century as it is marked on the back frame "This painting belongs to Mama, Nov 5, 1900, R. L. Stovall". The frame is incredible with only a tiny bit of missing gilding (see photos). Painting measures 14"x20". Frame measures 19" x 25". Please e-mail me with any questions. Artist unknown
